Ainsworths Bach Flower Remedies
Recovery Remedy is Ainsworths original version of Dr Edward Bach’s five flower combination for the relief of anxiety and stress. Containing flower essences made from Cherry Plum, Clematis, Impatiens, Rock Rose and Star of Bethlehem.
It was Dr Bach’s lifelong assistant Nora Weeks who first introduced our own founder John Ainsworth to the flower remedies. She visited him in London in the late 1950s and persuaded him to provide stock bottles of essences made by her and Dr Bach to the public. John and his colleague Audrey Ulbricht have pleasant memories of Nora. So much so that it was Audrey who instigated the manufacture of Ainsworths Bach Flower Remedies. Audrey still collects flowers and prepares essences.
Ainsworths Bach Flower Remedies are made strictly in accordance with the directions of Dr Edward Bach. We harvest wild flowers in and around our country garden, chosen for its harmonious vibration and peaceful setting. Plants are isolated from all but the essential human contact and prepared by either the sun or boiling method as dictated by Dr Bach. Each plant is treated with great love and the entire procedure of preparation is a natural integration of plant vibration with that of spring water.
The mother essence is prepared with the finest brandy, emulating the founder, and final product is similarly the original strength of 1 part essence to 240 parts brandy (1:240). This allows the maximum strength of the essence to be produced for consumer. This should not be confused with other more diluted and therefore weaker brands available to consumers.
Ainsworths Recovery Remedy is available in 10ml and 20ml bottles as well as a very special preservative free 40ml cream. The cream is in a plastic rather than metal tube, being more harmonious with the vibration of the essence.
Recovery Remedy is now very popular as a natural anxiolytic. Many people carry it in their handbag for that odd moment of panic. Homoeopathic vets have found it immensely useful as a relaxant both before surgery and when examining animals.
The other 38 flower remedies are available directly from Ainsworths. Trade enquiries are welcomed
